Janbal is an experimental documentary, which takes place in the Island of Hormoz in the Persian Gulf. Following an artist’s inner fantasy world, this adventurous magical realism tells the legend of a love story between a man and a fairy–also known as the figure of Djinn, a widespread figure in the Mesopotamian Basin.
